What is this real-time demographics thing?

The real-time demographics is a fun (maybe even useful?) new way of keeping tracks of your peers. Instead of hiding demographic information from the consumer like most companies do, we would like to show it, and instead of being merely about age, class, or income, we made it a little more about the poetry of life. That is what counts anyway, is it not?

What does demographic mean?

The characteristics of human populations and population segments, especially when used to identify consumer markets.

How are the t-list demographics calculated?

When you place an order for a t-list you will answer a few fun questions. The questions you can expect to be asked could be what your favorite color is or if you consider yourself an optimist or pessimist. A database then collects the answers and updates them live on the website. That's how the demographics on each t-list is updated.

We were tired of boring marketing demographics, and thought it would be cool to make a service available where you can can track what other people who bought the same t-list as yourself are like. Its as simple as that.

What is the idea behind t-list?

The idea is simple. We love t-shirts and we love top lists, so we thought - why not merge the two?

What method of printing does t-list use?

We use something called direct-to-garment printing. It is the best quality out there. Better than silkscreen, heat transfers and sublimation. There is really nothing that beats it.

Are you sweatshop free?

Yes. All our garment is produced in North America.

Will my shirt shrink when I wash it?

All our shirts are made of 100% cotton. They may shrink about half a size when washed.

Are there any specific washing instructions?

For best results wash inside-out and in cold wash.

When was t-list established?

In 2006.

Where is t-list based?

We are based in California, USA.

Am I allowed to make my own t-lists?

You can make all the top lists you want that are available on our site, but t-list is a registered trademark and making your own copies without permission would be copyright infringement.

I haven't received my order. What's going on?

For orders within the US we can fill a complaint with the courier after 3 weeks. For international orders please allow 5 weeks before contacting us.

Why is my parcel opened?

Sometimes damage may occur to our parcels. It is not our fault but negligent handling by the courier. Luckily we are not in the business of glassware.

Why was my order charged a customs fee when it was delivered?

This fee is being charged by your government, not t-list. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we have no control over the customs authorities in your country or any other.

Do you ship to a different address than the billing address on my credit card?

Indeed, we do.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. International orders are $10 flat rate. Orders within the US and Canada are $5 flat rate.

Can I get my order delivered by FedEx, UPS, or similar?

If you require your order to be shipped with a personal courier please contact us at dingdong@t-lists.com regarding this service before you place your order.

I don't have a credit card. Can I still place an order?

Yes, indeed. We accept wire transfers, money orders, and cheques. Please contact us at dingdong@t-lists.com and state your preferred method of payment.

Is my credit card information secure?

Yes. Your credit card information is 100% secure. In fact, our partnership with PayPal means that we don't even store your information. PayPal is the most trusted method of payment online and the most used too. So you do not have to worry.

What is your return policy?

Since all orders are custom, we are unable to accept returns.

What's behind the price?

We have priced our t-shirts as low as possible. However, remember that every order is custom-made, we use the best printing method in the industry, and all garment is of the highest quality. That is why it doesn't cost 10 dollars. The reason some companies can price their shirts low is because they make bulk orders, the more you print, the cheaper it gets, but since we are a customized t-shirt company we do not have that luxury.
